The Rebel Ridge Farm Philosophy
Our farm philosophy is to help preserve the traditional Rocky Mountain Horse through a careful breeding program, and we feel that we have been successful—our horses have excelled in the RMHA rated trail program and as grand champions in the show ring. Their owners generally consider them very special representatives of the breed.

Why We Love the Rocky Mountain Horse
Love is often an overused “verb”, but it’s almost universal for those who really know the Rocky Mountain Horse. These horses are not only beautiful, but are gentle and want to do as you wish. Most of ours come to the halter, and after training all stand to be mounted and are capable of providing a gait that takes pleasure riding to a new level on the trail or in the show ring. Come see why we’re hooked on this rare breed of Kentucky origin!
A Family Horse
Rockies have an ability to adjust to the skill level of the rider. We start young riders or inexperienced adults in our riding ring and they “graduate” to our bush-hogged trails. These horses were 3 year olds when these photos were made.
